Please observe the following guidelines when submitting your piece online (inquire about sending file formats other than what has been listed below):

Visual Art (Including Photography)

Quality:

Use the best quality your camera or scanner has (least glossy), like "Extra Fine" or similar

Submitted files should be at least 1 megapixel (1000 x 1000 pixels), suggested 2-4 megapixels, no greater than 13 megapixels

If scanning your piece, please scan at a resolution of 600 DPI or greater

Please submit in the most loss-less format possible (but no RAW images please) with as little compression as possible.

• Open Document Text (.ODT)

• Rich Text Format (.RTF)

• Plain Text (.TXT)

Music & film

NOTE: No manuscripts or artwork can be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Manuscripts under consideration will be kept at least for four weeks. Materials published in the Santa Clara Review may not be reprinted, in whole or part, without the written permission of the editors or originators.
