All work can be sent via our Submittable link.
Please observe the following guidelines when submitting your piece online (inquire about sending file formats other than what has been listed below):

  • Visual Art (Including Photography)

    Quality:

    • Use your camera or scanner’s best possible quality (least glossy), such as "Extra Fine" or similar.

    • If scanning your piece, do so at a resolution of 600 DPI (dots per inch) or greater.

    • Submitted files should be at least 1 megapixel (1000 x 1000 pixels), suggested 2-4 megapixels, and no greater than 13 megapixels.

    • No RAW images, please.

    • All of this said, try and submit your work with as little compression as possible.

    • Include your preferred name in the submission email, as well as your medium (acrylic on canvas, found media, 35mm film, Nikon Camera, etc). Piece titles are always appreciated!

    Accepted File Formats:

    • JPG / JPEG

    • Tag Image File (TIF / TIFF)

    • Portable Network Graphic (PNG)

    • Graphics Interchange Format (GIF)

    • Photoshop Document (PSD)

  • TEXT

    please include:

    • Author name as you wish it to appear in print

    • Title of your piece

    • Word count (please do not submit works over 6,000 words)

    • MPEG 4 Part 14 (MP4)

    • QuickTime File (.MOV)
